Any child with ten minutes of spare time can deactivate the software. Simply typing in the *wrong* password three times deactivates the software, and allows anyone access to the internet without any of the monitoring or filtering. Net Nanny is aware of this bug, yet has not scheduled a fix (per their email to me). What a waste of money...

Strengths: Very easy to set up and use. Blocks annoying pop-up ads. It really works!

This is a great program. You can set up what sites you want your children to go to. You can even set up how long you want them to be online. You can even monitor what they do online. It blocks sites and pop-up ads very well. This program is wonderful even for adults. I feel better knowing my daughter is surfing the net with Net Nanny watching her every move.
