Network Magic is not so magical for file sharing in your home network. At least it is no better than the feature that windows has already. It also needs a lot of the settings and configurations, which are not easy to complete for someone with little computer knowledge. Bottomline is if you can't figure out how to share files with windows, Network Magic may not work either.
Network Magic is the kind of program that really should be embedded in Windows XP or Vista but isn't. As home networks become commonplace, we really need a way to view all of the PCs on the network and manage who gets to access and share what.

Strengths: Simple setup, stability, pleasant GUI, toll-free support, liberal upgrade policy, reasonable cost.
