Only for nostalgia at best
Strengths: Was somewhat revolutionary at the time. Helped many people and companies develop excellent products.
Weakness: Old technology, not relevant.
I was surprised to see this product appear in ads in 2013; Visual Studio 6.0 was released in 1998 and was somewhat revolutionary at the time, but is not relevant for developing for modern versions of Windows (and never really was relevant for any other operating system).The latest version of Visual Studio is Visual Studio 2012, which would be named Visual Studio 11.0 if they had kept the same...
