Strengths: unknown
Weakness: will not give dialog box correctly to choose package to install,therefore install is aborted
I don't know who put this cd package together, be it pearson education or mandrake linux but they didn't get it right. I purchased from GoGame.com and their return policy is,if package is open can't return software. Catch 22! GoGame also has a 10.00 restocking fee and the price of the product is 9.90 plus shipping. Putting my RedHat linux 7.0 back on computer.

Strengths: Mandrake9.1.Easy to use,very powerfull.stable enogth.High speed install (10-15min),the posibility to fix it with boot cd using install option with all other options unchecked.
Weakness: Problems with setting network from graphical interface.After 3-4 tryes the system crashes at the network chapter and can't be repaired.We can offer assistance.

Strengths: Easy to install, good Linux distro for newbies.
Weakness: Weak support for hardware drivers, harder to use than Windows. Will have Lilo be the default bootloader after install.
Good Linux distribution, better than Libranet Linux 2.8 from what I've tried. I'm no expert on Linux, but the command-line or shell as it's known in Unix and Linux is good knowledge and fun. Installing programs and such is difficult. The fact remains--it's not Windows so it's not easy unless you know how to do it. It's a good Linux distro for newbies to the Linux/Unix world.
