Strengths: Nicely integrated with other MS Office tools. Simple user interface. Sample templates are useful.

Weakness: Some HTML codes only work in Windows environment. I had to hand-edit the HTML codes to make it work in non-Windows environment. This happens only rarely.

FrontPage 2003 has a lot of enhancement from the 2000 version that I used to use. The HTML codes it produces are cleaner and easier to hand-edit afterwards when necessary. I can now tailor my web pages for Internet Explorer or Netscape and know exactly what the pages will look like at the receiving end. Strengths: Easy to use.

Weakness: Drawback would be that the web site you are uploading to must be configured to accept Front Page code via Front Page extensions.

Front Page 2003 is easy to use to create professional looking web pages and sites without having to understand the inner workings of HTML code. It is easy to learn and use, even for a beginner. Overall, it is a very good web page design tool for beginner to intermediate level designers.

Strengths: Easy to use - like Microsoft word Gets the job done without too much hassle

Good value. Good program to create a basic website with, or edit a website. Note that you can't design templates with FrontPage. Otherwise, it's a great program by Microsoft that keeps all of Microsoft's ideas and methods. Strengths: Powerful tool - easy to use - good help

I love Front Page - could have used it sooner. I've been coding in HTML and boy- what a timesaver. I took one or two tutorials for about 30 minutes and then just began using it. I was doing development within the first hour of use. I see now why it is so popular.

Strengths: Similar in style to Word. Easy to adapt learing to this software.

I found it very easy to learn how to begin to develop and edit web pages using Frontpage. After a brief demonstration from a current user, I can already appreciate the potential uses.

Strengths: Very powerful. Allows a novice to make very nice websites. Tons of templates to help you in trying different formats for your site. Plus, it is part of the Microsoft family, so it may be familiar.

To get the full benefit of the software, I would highly recommend buying a how-to book. There are tons of books out there on using Frontpage 2003. If you are new to the program, trying to use it without a book will only lead to frustration.

Great product although I get complaints from my hosting service baou the extensions. Soemtimes I need to remove teh extnsions then put them back.
