Strengths: Good product for non-professional artists with moderate computer experience. Products does everything I need to do to touch up, crop and print digital photos.

Weakness: Like most powerful software, takes some experimentation and practice to learn to use all of the capabilities. Patience does pay off.

I'm an experienced computer user and found Elements 2.0 relatively easy to use. It installed easily and I was able to be "up and running" doing simple editing of photos within a few minutes. Some of the more sophisticated features require more practice but the online documentation is helpful. Strengths: Digital Photo Editing ( Brightness, contrast, filters, photomerge, batch processing, history )

Weakness: No healing brush, locks up occaisionally under Win XP

I really like the digital photo editing capabilities. Including, but not limited to Brightness, contrast control, filters, photomerge, batch processing, and change history. This product would be great if it had a healing brush, to quickly fix problem areas on photos.

Strengths: Excellent interface, allowing even novices to achieve good results. Is great for an average photographer.

Weakness: Lacks some powerful features including the Curves tool. A few things are also hard to find.

Those wanting a powerful editing app will want Photoshop CS, but for most this will work fine. This program takes away some lesser used more advanced features and drops the price at the same time.

Strengths: Much easier to use and edit from than standard photo editing software that comes with Canon cameras and printers.

Weakness: Have yet to identify any, but see comments below for lone critique.

Great product. Easy to install. Easy to use. Easy to sort and edit photos. However, if you only plan to download photos from camera and then print without editing, then no need to spend the money, just use the software provided with camera or printer.

I thought I was buying a photo program that would not only edit the photos but also help organize them in photo albums. This program only edits (crops, fixes the lighting, etc) so I was disappointed. You have to buy another Adobe software program for the photo album features.

Strengths: Easy to use, but still has advanced features

Weakness: Little difference from v1, Slow load up time (true since PSE1), v3 now released

One sentence can easily summarize my review: Get Version 3 instead. You'll get both an image editor and an album program for one low price. But this still isn't a bad buy, however, you should compare prices as v3 may end up cheaper for you. I've used Adobe Photoshop LE and most recently, used Photoshop Elements 1. Strengths: covers more topics than I will ever use, but at the same time I don`t know what rhe future will bring, and if I do need help with something I`m sure I willfind it in this software program.

Weakness: No real weaknesses that I could find except perhaps a little more technical than I have the knowledge to understand

My own personal problem not having enough knowledge of computers and digital photography to make this program work better for me, other than that it has a wealth of knowledge that I hope to understand better in the future

Product is excellent in its price category. Considering this product accommodates "plug ins" and the third party providers of "plug ins" are abundant, it would have been a service to users if Adobe provided a more convienient and informative means to connect us users to those plug in providers.

Strengths: Wide range of editing capability. Can do both picture enhancement and special effects.

Weakness: The browser portion of program is very slow.

Photoshop Element 2.0 has the ability to improve photo that have defects in composition, proper exposure, modify color saturation. It can correct these defects over portions of the picture, not just the entire picture. Given the tremendous capability its use is relatively easy and it adheres to Windows conventions. Adobe Photoshop Elements v.2.0

Strengths: The save for web feature changes the photo for faster downloading time online.

Weakness: Still trying to understand all the functions.

I use the program to edit photos before uploading them on the web for ebay. The photos load more quickly than the originals to make my auctions more user friendly.
