Quicken 2007 Basic

Strengths: Great program for the money

Weakness: An older version

I had to install this program on a new computer in order to recover data from an old system that had failed. The owner wanted the same program that he had used before and it was great to find the 2007 version new in the box at a great price.

This is a great tool for people to keep track of their expenses. The software is easy to install. The interface is user friendly, can download from a large number of banking institutions. It’s good for tracking basic personal finance.

Strengths: Great layout

Weakness: Missing tax involvement.

I like this software a lot. Its great for keeping track of credit card bills, ultility bills, etc... The one thing I find its missing is any relationship to tax software. Possibly the larger suites of quicken (deluxe) include this, though I have no experiecnce with that. Great program at a great price

Strengths: Great financial program year after year

Weakness: Webconnect could work a little better

This program will handle your personal finances with ease. I have been using Quicken for more than 10 years and I'm a very satisfied user. I don't see any major changes in this version of Quicken. There are always free after rebate deals for this program during the tax season.

Fit all your basic needs

This version just fits all your personal finance needs. I know clearly where my money goes. Managing bank and credit card accounts with the online synchronizing function is a great help for me.

Was able to pick this up with TurboTax for a reasonable price. The software functions as you would expect with no great bells and whistles. I would buy it again but don't know that I would buy next years when it becomes available.
