easy to learn and easy to start

Strengths: better and detailed help for the beginner;

Weakness: no much upgrade from 2007 version

It's a good choice for small business user. It provides all the essential and necessary accounting tools like printing checks, bill payment, creating invoice, sales and expense reporting and money flow. It comes with 250 free checks, one year of free online backup. The training CD is very helpful for a beginner. But more modules should be purchased when you need to process payroll and credit card.

Weakness: * Not compatible with Bank & Financial Statement Downloads. * No tracking for Inventory & POs * Automatic printing of Tax forms

This is very nice Software for its price compared to its features. Very easy to install and start. Most of the menus and features are self-explanatory. It is compatible with both Windows XP and Vista. On line back-up up to 1 GB is a plus to avoid regular back-up of important data from Computer. Quick Book 2008

Strengths: very easy to install, have a lot of features .. check writing, export data to excel sheet,credit card payment, cheap

Weakness: Bad Customer Support

I wanted to use some software to keep my book updated. My CP referred me this software. it is very easy to install, has lot of features, keep track of money flow , shows the daily changes in the assets, can accept credit card payment, check writing. Only downside is the bad customer support.

This is Basic Financial Software

Strengths: Simple straightforward features for home or small business, can import from Excel

This is designed to be a basic accounting software for home or small business. It is not intended to do portfolio or inventory tracking, but rather, basic financial and sales reports. It is nice to create and track invoices and payments. If you need a basic accounting software, this is a good choice, it is easy to use and has a nice flow.

Quick Book Simple Start 2008 Plus pack

Strengths: Very easy to install . I like the feature that I can print check. (the bank charges me about $30.00 to print the bank checks).

Weakness: Not really user friendly. Need a lot of time to figure it out the steps to get it work.

Not much different than the 2007 version. I use it mainly for keeping of my monthly credit cards expenses as I use several credit card every month. I also like the feature of accepting payment from credit cards.

Strengths: easy to install, easy to use with lots of features

it really comes in handy - very easy to install and easy to use. There are lots of features though to use some of them you need use the manual, but it's worth effort. It perfectly fits small business making transactions orginized.

It is an easy-to-use software, which can be integrated with lots of other common softwares, such as Google Maps, Microsoft Outlook, and online business directories. Comparing with the 2007 version, they are basically the same. Anyway, it is a good choice for small business users.

I used Quickbooks simple start edition for 2007 before, so I want to try the new version. I found that it is pretty easy from 2007 version to 2008 version. Most functions are unchanged. Also the user interface doesn't changed too much. Anyway, this software makes my life easier in managing my money.

Strengths: Installation is really easy. Just follow the step by step and you are there!

Weakness: It is hard to learn it and figure it out.

The feature of the credit card processing functionality that is really great and good to have it. Also, there are a lot of the features such as software support that provide great support. I also believe this is the best thing that the software has "keep track of money flow, and reports are limited".

An essential accounting software!!!

Weakness: It takes a while to understand and use the features, Some reporting functionality is limited, Not suitable for a very small business

This turned out to be a much better software than what I expected it to be. It took me only 20 minutes to install the entire application on my Windows PC. Mine is a XP version, so if you use Vista, check out if it really supports.
