Product Details of Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Description

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins' guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind. The end result is one of the most open-ended RPG's possible - one with an infinite number of possible paths through the game.

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: True 'open-ended' game play.

Weakness: Uh.., guess no multi player option, would be the only thing could fault, thou not missed as yet.

Go for RTS games usually, but this RPG game is a kick. If you like playing with games, as well as playing games, this is a "Must Have." And with the many 'Mods' availible, expect a long replayable life, too.

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: really really & fun good graphics

Weakness: no multiplayer otherwise none

morrowind is without a doubt the best game that I have ever played .Unlike most games ,where you play it twice and you get bored i have been playing it for a year, and i still like it. I would higly recomend it. IF you have not purchased this game ,do so in the near future, you will not regret it

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: fun, detailed, works with 3d glasses

Weakness: not so great graphics

this game has the best cheats! You can do "player-> AddItem (name) (number)" for almost anything and player-> set(whatever) (number). There is a whole ton of detail in it. However the graphics aren't the newest greatest and though it's nice to have 300+ fps, it doesn't look as nice as some of the things with DirectX 9 shaders. After a month I'm still playing it but not as often, which is probably...

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: Very fast gameplay, smooth running, visually appealing, very open-ended, complete freedom, the list goes on.

Weakness: You need a lot to get this game to run, and it can be *too* open-ended and such at times.

This game has everything you'd want out of a RPG. Many companies say they offer very open-ended gameplay, but most do not deliver. This game really does that, and much more. You can do whatever you want, kill the wildlife, make *friends* with the wildlife. Talk to the natives, *kill* the natives.. it's all up to you. The problem with this game is that if you go too far and kill someone, you may...

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: More open-ended that you could believe, huge game world, massive variety of character abilities, main storyline is good.

Weakness: You need a beast of a system to run this and make it look as good as it can.

I'll try to keep this short, since I managed to hit the character limit in my Warcraft 3 review. This game is a must-have for people who like to go and do whatever they can in RPGs with little to no direction. Since your character can literally advance in any skills available in the game, after a short while of play your character will become unique. Other games have claimed it, but in this game...

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: Open Ended game like no other; Stunning graphics; construction set to add or manipulate content ie. add new adventures (there are many to download from various sites); NOT that you need to !!

Weakness: It has everything I desire in a game except multiplayer capability.

I am a full-time pc gamer in my recreation, and a computer programmer by occupation. I come to Morrowind from Everquest. The only thing EQ has on this game is its multiplayer aspect and the fairly new EQ graphics engine which just provides more detailed character faces, otherwise Morrowind blows away EQ in terms of playability and stunning graphics. Items in Morrowind are not limited by race or...

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: So many different types of weapons and endings to the game.

Weakness: No multiplayer. If it had this capability it would be unbeatable.

I borrowed this game from my mate and loved it to bits sadly i had to give it back,so i decided to go and buy the game myself and liked it even more,i've never played a game longer than 3 months almost non-stop.

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: Killer graphics, great sound. Never ending map. I can jus keep going...

Weakness: For for those of you who have less then a p3 1GHz, your out of luck, and u will need a video card,(i got a new Gforce4 TI 4600, but i recomed a high-end gforce3

So far my first 4 days of school have been hell! ive been so sleepy. Ever since ive got morrowwind, i have been doing homework by day, and doing extream gaming by nite. This game takes allot of patience. 35% of the time i was killing people i would need later on, and started from a prev saved game, so, it would piss me off allot(duh, nothing worst then having to go back in time 45min in a game)...

Bethesda The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Strengths: This game has some Awsome Graphics, Its visually pleasing to the eye you could say. Plus Charecter to NPC interaction is outstanding. The gameplay is great with endless lands and quests to complete.

Weakness: Graphic requirments would hinder low end video cards. The game uses alot of system resources. Monster Variety in not as high as expected, giving the vastness of the game. No multi-player

First off, this game does rock. I played it forever when I bought it, and still do. Its got the hack and slash of Diablo II, and the interaction of like....Baldurs Gate II. There is a nice story line, that in fact you dont even need to follow the main quest for a while. You can play misc quests for a long time. There are so many variables in this game, it is amazing, from the skills and weapons...

Elder Scrolls III Morrowind

Morrowind isn't perfect and its system requirements are huge; but its accomplishments outweigh any reservations, in my opinion. It isn't for everybody, but then what game is? This one shows more planning, talent and creative vision than anything I've played in a very long time. And I'll stand by those words.

Elder Scrolls III Morrowind

Daggerfall, released back in 1996, was one of the most ambitious games ever made. The second chapter of the Elder Scrolls saga, Daggerfall's open-ended gameplay, random dungeons, and multitude of major and minor quests made role-playing fans cheer with delight. However, its sub-par graphics, even for its day, combined with an inexcusable number of bugs ruined the experience for some gamers. Even...

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Flash back to the year 1994, a game by the name of The Elder Scrolls: Arena was released; it won numerous awards including the best RPG of the year. Two years later a sequel was developed entitled: The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, and it also won RPG of the year. It has now been six years since the release of that game and a lot of hype has been surrounding the developers at Bethesda Softworks...
