Weakness: None so far. If you buy this product with a rebate, be aware that Sony Media Software rebates are generally very unreliable.
This product is excellent for the aspiring music producer or the amateur that wants to create loops, record live instruments, master tracks, and burn compositions. The low price point is an extra bonus--you don't need to buy professional software to attain superb results.
Strengths: A lot of features, Tutorials, Intuitive interface
Weakness: None so far, except my lack of knowledge and time for learning.
It seems like really good product for the money for the beginners in music creation. It seems a bit complicated for the start because of big amount of features. I am not composer or professional musician and I've never used music manipulation software before so it takes me some time to learn. But it seems this product has much more features than I'll be able to use in nearest future.

I have previously been using various cheap sound manipulation tools as well as WinXP built ins. They got the job done, but just. I started using the Sony Vegas video editor recently and decided to try this. It works very well with Vegas, very flexible and fairly intuitive. Glad I switched.

Strengths: easy to use, good online support

The software is very easy to intall and use. It can record and mix musics and burn them in to your own CD or mp3. After you register, you can get online support and download music loop recordings from sony's website. It's functions are limited. But for the price, it is good enough.
