Pinnacle is known for its easy to use video editing software. The non-standard interface makes it easy to get started. Unfortunately, the program is plagued with problems that never seem to get resolved. poor software, many gliches, terrible technical support. I tried to use this for months and during that time was not able to make a single dvd with 5.1 surround though I paid extra for this feature. Useless company and useless software.

Better options out there.
Strengths: Lots of features, some of which are useful. Additional templates/features require more purchasing.
Weakness: BUGGY!! The software has changed very little in this department since its last version. Constant freezes or kicks to the desktop. They really ought to invest in a QA department.
Used the last version for a while but was not able to finish a whole project without the application constantly dropping to the desktop. Further reviews indicate this updated version is the same. Buyer beware!!
