Strengths: Doesn't hog resources like older NAV did. Very frequent signature updates. Scans during idle time. Simple, clean user interface. Works well with Windows 7 RC. Does its job very well.

This new Symantec antivirus version has been improved a lot compared with the last version. The software did not slow down my system as badly as it did last time. I thought I would never go back using Symantec softwares but I gave it another try. I was not disappointed this time. Virus removal efficiency has also been improved a little.

2009 Norton antivirus version has been improved significantly. It does not take up all space in your computer system and it runs faster. Virus removal performance is also better this year as it is able to remove the most tricky viruses. Overall I am happy with this software.

Weakness: Painful re-activation process
This is the best norton product yet! It's really streamlined, installs quickly and uses very little resources. It's a 3-user edition, so I can install it on multiple computers. NOte that symantec is very an** about software activation, as when I did a vista reinstall, I had to reactive NAV 2009, but I had already exceeded my installs.
